At Artfest, my booth ended up placed right in a corner, surrounded by the booths of some of my closest friends. We helped each other set up and pack up, along with keeping each other entertained (and fed. Love you Madi, you're amazing at baking) during the event. They kept me from losing my mind between the more professional interactions with customers, using nothing but silliness and sheer force of will. The sound of live music, stand-up comedy, and other performances filled the air. The people who came were all unique, both in style and expression.
The memories from Artfest will stick with me far more than the monetary profits ever will. I am so infinitely glad that I participated in such an amazing event.
